Maybe use safe mode with networking so you can just download DDU while in safe mode. Try the current driver and if the black screen occurs again do this again with an older driver. .

WebHey guys I am having trouble to boot HiveOS from an USB stick. I flashed it multiple times with Rufus, Etcher and the HiveOS install. When i boot i see the first menu (GRUB?) then it goes to black screen. Also the partition of HiveOS is just 20mb (see picture) and that seems weird.
