High margin rates
WebAll decently safe plays. Fidelity margin for a debit balance of 0-25k is 8.325% which seems crazy high. I’ve seen posts about negotiating but it seems that is for people that are borrowing A LOT more money on margin. I don’t necessarily want to switch brokers but has anyone been successful negotiating with fidelity? WebFidelity's current base margin rate, effective since 2/3/2024, is 11.575%.
